I think we have all seen the vid of this stuff posted on here a couple months ago and all had dreams of never washing our quads again! :D It's on the market now by Rust-Oleum. I saw a commmercial for it at Canadian Tire a week or so ago, and now my Greggs rep says they are carrying it! They only have the spary cans, but if the demand is there they will consider getting the pails. Right now i'm going to get a couple packs for my open sled trailer. See if it will keep the road grim off the front ramps and out of my garage. A more immediate use will be the quad fenders before this weekend. See if it works as we all dream!!

it works good on hard surfaces that dont flex, but i wouldnt reccoment spraying your whole quad with it or anything you want to look nice. It looks clear in the commercials but it goes on a frosted white colour. I did one of my work boots with it and it works like it says it should but didn't last long due to the flexing of the material. i could see spraying on my running boards of sled to prevent snow from sticking. a friend of mine wanted to spray the inside of the tunnel to prevent snow build up but i think this would reduce the cooling effect of snow because none of it would stick to the underside of tunnel. just my 2 cents

I might try it as I now sell it. Seems pricy if it doesn't last though.

Just spray the tunnel and not the cooler

I really like the idea of spraying the running boards, anywhere where ice can build up and become a nuisance or safety hazard!

I know this is an old thread, but did anyone ever try this on the running boards? If so, did it work?

Someone did but it left a white haze and wore off easy.

Put it on my boots and it wears off very easy, and it leaves a dusty looking appearance. Worked well the first day but if you brush up against things often it wipes off basically, you can reapply though, then it looks even more dusty.
