The exit pipe from the stock muffler is 1 and a 1/4 to 1 and a 1/2 inches away from the melted plastic. So, where theThing attaches to the stock muffler is the hottest place and it is no different really than the 2014 and 2013's. As for brand of can, use what you like and I will enjoy my lemon garlic shrimp, the occasional feed of bacon wrapped scallops or the odd BBQ'd strip loin steak c/w with fresh veggies in a tangy plum sauce!

I also see that you still have the foam on the side panel. That may reflect/keep more heat in the affected area, no?

I still have the foam on my panels too. No melting. Seems the thing cooker can does what it's says!

I don't know if there any "followers" but I doo know that people whom I ride with sure smell the food cooking.

At my age food is always good and the aroma is sometimes even better.
