Just wondering what is my new 2012 800 proclimb supposed to rev to? Havent been out with it yet so if any has an idea i would like to know. :confused:

According to Dyno sheet from a 2010 7800-7900 is peak power. 8100 plus is a considerable power loss. The 2012 is the same eng but in a different chassis different intake, mapping, clutch, etc. But the numbers should still be close. Hope this helps

It should be Stamped somwhere on Clutch side/ sticker on clutch cover maybe?

any good news on a better clutch set up? mine over revs by 550-600 rpm. hitting 8500. no belt slippage. heavier weights? or spring also?

No.peak power is 8200 RPM. 8550 is rev limiter. When my vents ice up and only pull 7900 its a very noticable difference.

I was seeing about 8350 on mine as well. Just ordered a yellow/green primary spring to drop the finish rate by about 18lbs for now. I am also gonna give the MDS weights a try as Glenn at Spindrift is getting a few sets of those in.
