Rotary value timing 670

I have a 99 670 summit x that I just put a short block in. Would I know if the timing of the rotary is off?

I have the tool and know the procedure, all I'm wondering is if a guy could tell if the timing is out by the way it sound running.

Your looking for the rotary valve whisperer. If you timed it correctly and the engine is not running right better look elsewhere.

What is the rotary value whisper? Am I right to assume that it is a sound the value makes when the engine is running?
