I am a tech and 9 times out of 10 customer diag is wrong. "Here's a new alternator can you just put it in for me." "OK done but it didn't fix it." Then its my fault when it turns out is was just a 5 cent fuse and not the the alternator, dam customers, i didn't diag it cause you didn't want to pay for it your bad not mine.
