My Dad and I are driving to Ontario tomorrow morning to pick up my brother as he likes Ford for whatever reason lol and his transmission kicked the bucket so we need to pick him and his stuff up. curious about road conditions along the way? can't seem to find any info anywhere, trying to find a timeline as to when we will arrive, thanks!

There is no snow left in all of Saskatchewan, highways are dry. Even when it did snow on Monday they were fine. I don't think you will have any bad roads along the way.

LOL He is moving out here, towing his car to the scrappers with my DODGE because it's a reliable Automobile lmao (only joking) but there is no point in putting a $2,000 transmission into a $700 crown victoria

Still early you'll be fine, they got some snow around the Great Lakes today but nothing substantial... Try that drive in February, that's a whole other story!

I've done it. Not a soul on the road between Thunder Bay and the Sault, snowing the whole way... Didn't take the ford outta 4x4 and damn snow were priceless! Also an eye opener paying 1.50 a litre in some areas

So your going out to Ontario to haul his car to the wreckers? I'm pretty sure they'll come pick it up for free and he hops on the grey hound for the rest of the trip.

lol no genius, He is moving out here (alberta) and then his tranny grenaded and cancelled that, so we are now in marathon, roads are pretty good. loading up his stuff, visiting some friends and heading back to alberta

I think you will find the road conditions to be very pot holy in Alberta and Sask. As you get closer to the have not provinces of Ontario and if you were to continue on to Quebec the road conditions will be smooth as glass.

In sault st marie at a hotel on the way back, pouring rain and the people in northern ontario drive like they are inbred in this weather, so driving all night when you have been up for 44 hours straight probably isn't the best idea
