Picked up an old 2002 rmk550 trail for the camp the other day. I've never owned a polaris before.
Was wondering if anyone here remembers a good clutching setup with very low engagement for 4500'?
Also what kinda jetting should this thing have for 4-5000 feet?
Thanks

Check with Rhodesie on the site. He is a licensed Polaris tech and probably has that on top of his head or can get it for you? Good luck!

I bought a new 2002 Indy Trail 2 up and had the dealer set it up for 4500-7000' ( I don't remember any of the specs but I am glad Trevor was able to help you out). I was impressed where that baby would go on the logging roads and cut blocks. It was a little tougher in the tight trees and that's when I went with a little longer track and bigger paddles. Here is a picture in the back of Gorman with our son #3 and first grandson getting some wood for a fire.
