quick question.....looking at rims for the summer. They are 9" width. Tires I would like run recommend a rim width between 7" to 8.5". Any issues? Retail shop says "no worries man". Lol

Ive seen 13.5 wides mounted on 9 inch rims with 0 issues its out of spec but im running 12 wide rims with 12.5 tires also out of spec and have 75xxx kms on my f350 mostly towing with 0 issues i find biggest issues comes from cheap tires, have also ran 13.5 on 10 rim on my last diesel 0 issues, i honeslty would not worry with your setup

What's the tire width? If you are putting on a tire that is substantially narrower than the rim, aside from looking goofy you have to be pretty careful around curbs.
