the bridges across the Clearwater river, have been closed permanently for the foreseeable future. the oil company is not going to rebuild the road access to enable the use of the bridges, and the County has no interest at this time either. way too many road washouts and river has changed it's course way to many times in there.

You can still go in the south side. You should be able to go in from the north side as well. I am going from memory here so distances won't be exact. Turn south on the dump road which is at the top of the hill west of Caroline before the river. Drive until you hit the dead end (~5 km). Turn west and keep driving down the road and eventually you will hit a stop sign which is the junction on rig street just on the south side of the washed out road (~20 km maybe). On this road you will drive through a burn area and the road will literally go around oil facility in the middle of the road. This road was in decent shape a couple of years ago but no idea if that's still the case.

Heading down this way Sunday, looking at google earth it looks like a pretty easy route in to the south, we have a 4X4 SUV with the quads on the utility trailer, anybody been in this way lately and should we expect any problems.
Also wondering if we go to the old north entrance where the bridge is out can we stage there and cross the river on the quads? at least we are on pavement that way.

The south side is easy access. The road is paved up to the James River. After the River go up the hill and Rig Street in the first right about 2k from the river. There are lots of places to park and tons of trails. You could even go right from bridge at James River and miss all the gravel.
