Riding pipeline

Is there any good way to get to the pipeline is it better from corbin road ( tin shack ) or from Fernie shooting range or ( dump ) i want to go in back of the notch

I would think heading up Coalcreek in Fernie is going to be your best bet! Sounds and looks like there will be some fresh snow up high over the weekend.

we are thinking of going in from the tin shack too on sunday, probably have to drive 5 or 6 km's up from the tin shack to unload? anyone know?

All I have heard (I haven't seen it with my eyes) is that Coal Creek is impassable at km 39 (where the big mud slide came down) for the ordinary vehicles. Rumor has it that a really jacked up truck might get over the debris pile and then there is dirt past Matheson. Morrissey was a better choice. They unloaded at the second bridge on Monday. Good luck.
