This is French Peak.... awesome day.... just a bit cold. The first one is looking up the water fall.. the only way in. Then one of those "oh sh-t" moments!!

Pulled some stills off my helmet cam from sat... best part of the day was Bryan (owner of XXXModRods and one of my HUGE supporters and sponsors) waving me to go one way, then thinking I was out of control and running the direction he waved me!! We had a good laugh over this one...

Here's a little story of it:

I come up through a nightmare of ruts, trees, ice to find Bryan stuck. He madly waves me to go left and I fully intend to but the line I see is just a little further up, over a small tree and squaring up to what might be an icy windlip a bit better, and THEN left. So I stay on the throttle and keep her pointed right at him and he PANICS. I mean, sleds are traction and so can be your sponsors sometimes but I had no intention of just rallying right over him and his green machine!!! But he runs, his only path away is downhill and RIGHT into the one line open to me that he was pointing me to!!! Lemme tell ya, he can move pretty fast through the snow but not fast enough to pass in front of me and then get below me out of the line. So I lifted rather than run him over. But holy heck was it funny and watching it in slow mo is even better!!! Here are some stills...

Hahahahaha Em, that is hilarious! Love stories like that. It's always worse being the "pedestrian" (or the filmer!), instead of the rider, and not knowing which way the sled and the momentum is going! LOL Remember when I almost ran over Shaun last year, and he didn't even flinch?! I knew I had my line but he sure didn't...hahahaha. Such fun, thanks for the awesome pics!

Here are a few of my self, Laura aka jevs28 and Korena aka pink Polaris ...what a weekend the 3 of us girls rode blue lake @ sicamous.i will have to try to figure out how to get some stills of our helmet cams. This is our new annual girls ride lol thanks to mom and dad for the use of the cabins and the great food!

Was a great weekend. 2 good rides. Sunday was our Poker run. Good times.

Great food thanks to Beau's cooking, and wicked prizes! The good thing about our area is after the actual poker run, you have ample areas to play. Something for everyone.
