We have a cabin at Elk Ridge Waskesiu Lake Hotels :: Elk Ridge Resorts but they have cabins for rent and a hotel and there are tons of trails there connecting pretty much all the surrounding lakes (Candle,Emma, Christopher etc) Also if you go about 2 miles down the highway toward Shellbrook out of PA you can unload at Ed's Chicken Inn and there are lots of trails in there and around the Shell river.

Any places near North Battleford you can recommend? Other question is what are the regulations like in sask, does a rider need to have their ATV insured and registered?

You don't have to have registration or insurance on a quad in SK, but you must wear a helmet. I think my dad has insurance coverage for his quad through his house insurance just in case though.

actually, I beleive you are suppose to have liability ins. to ride on saskatchewan crown land, but that may change soon, as for some reason the saskatchewan atv association is fighting to get registration for their quads.

Not to much near battleford its all fields but if you go just north of glaslyn to the forrest there its really great. Or about 2 hour drive north of nb to chitek lake is good aswell. The trails are kinda sandy but theres enough muskag to make you wish there wasnt lol

Chitek is really good. Has nice easy trails for light riding but if you want to get wet you can find the skag. Turtle lake also has some pretty good trails as well. My family also has some land that is used for the sled trails. It's fenced off for the neighbors cattle in the summer so it's a private little heaven.

Any chance that cabin could be rented out to a couple RESPONSIBLE riders?
