Too pumped to sleep this morning, so I thought I would post a report from "base camp". We enjoyed springtime temperatures and bluebird skies yesterday ALL day. Really, we could not have asked for better conditions. The day started with some lessons on slow and controlled boon-docking, using sidehilling and direction changes to navigate the slopes. The group all tried some tree bashing, jumps, wheelies, drops, and even some whips. The clinic has been populated by a fabulous group of guys who have a tonne of heart and are willing to try just about anything... and not just once!! Chris has been super-encouraging, pushing each rider just a little bit further, but keeping mindful of not stepping out of the comfort zone and into the injury zone :) I think the strongest point of the clinic so far has been Chris' ability to break down the "moves" and explain what needs to happen during each phase. Then, he is really good at picking out what could be better for the next attempts. It was awesome to watch the rider's confidence and finesse progress throughout the day.

Last night, after ANOTHER fabulous meal by Chris and Michelle at Summit River Lodge, we reviewed all of the video footage from the day and there were lots of laughs, oohs and aaaahs, and a few "d'OH's"!! The photos these guys are taking home truly tell an amazing story and I feel privileged to be able to send them home with momentos of their 'hard work'. I am looking forward to another day with a great crew.

A quick unedited peak at some of the 800 action shots we got yesterday :p

Im jealous of all the people riding with Chris this weekend! Im doing this next year because there is no way that everyone there is not going to become a better rider out of it. Feel free to write any of the tips out on the site! LOL Just wondering if Brown is riding a polaris turbo or what machine he is riding out there? Thanks
I have stayed at the Summit Lodge, Chris and Michelle work hard out there and try to take care of you. They even picked up our fuel and beer from town for us while we were ridden that day! Who does that?

BINGO!!

And yes... Summit River Lodge rocked our socks off!! Wonderful meals and great people. One of the only places I have ever stayed and the bed was comfortable enough to actually sleep!!

I will post more photos soon :)

We were pleased to hear that the ride was able to be accommodated in McBride, thanks to Rod from Adrenaline Tours. The group rode Belle Mountain Saturday and Renshaw on Sunday. Can't wait to see more pictures !!! Kudos to Summit River Lodge, Chris Brown, and everyone else that made this great ride happen.

There have been some changes made...due to some politics we had to modify this clinic. the next riding clinic in Valemount will now be held in March. Details soon...email me if interested. ridewithchris@gmail.com

I will say that Summit River Lodge is an awesome place to stay if you're snowmobiling in Valemount!!
