Talked to 2 friends that picked up their xp x's at H2O in Sicamous yesteday morning, they rode Frisby again and said there is now about a 9 ft base up there. Was a great day in the sunshine, and they only went thru 1 belt each in 60 km. Hmmm I think I've got about 1500km on my 670x belt.

There has got to be some reason why guys are blowing belts and others are not. I rode Revy a few weekends ago and not a problem with the belt. I looked at it a few days ago again to make sure I wasn`t missing something. I don`t have a single cord coming out. I wonder if some dealers aren`t setting up the alignment correctly. I bought mine at Martin in Edmonton on the west end. I`ve heard Jerry( a mechanic there) was suppose to be one of the best with Ski-Doo`s machines.

I bought mine at Martin's too. I haven't had a chance to take it out yet, but I sure hope I'm not going through a belt a day. Have you had any other problems with your XP yet?

Talked to the lloydminster dealer yesterday and he said there is a anti-corrosion film on the clutches as well as the film on new belt. They rough up the clutches with scotch brite and steel wool on the belt.

Last report says 4 ft. base 1 1/2 ft. of fresh and 2 1/2 ft. of fresh in the alpine. Still not enough snow on the the lower trails to groom yet. We just aren`t getting :snow: at the lower elevations.
