Mtn. Caribou Habitat Closure areas at Frisby, Sale, Keystone and Caribou Basin are open to ride on Fri. Apr. 16, closures are in effect Jan.1 - Apr. 15 inclusive!!!!!!!!!!
OPENING DAY ON FRISBY
WE ARE STRESSING EXTREME CAUTION ON FRISBY ON OPENING DAY April 16, (areas are closed up to and including the 15th).
WITH THESE AREAS BEING CLOSED TO SNOWMOBILING ALL WINTER, THE SNOW BUILD UP ON THE SLOPES, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE SNOWFALLS OF THE LAST WEEK (2 TO 3 FEET) ARE GOING TO MAKE THESE HILLS VERY DANGEROUS.
MAKE GOOD DECISIONS AND SAVE YOUR LIFE,
WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU, NOT ABOUT YOU!
Boulder Thurs. parking 5 km. up the Kirkup, no turn arounds for big trailers. Still a ft. of snow in the 6 km. parking lot. Was about 4-6" of soft snow. Top of the Bezanson trail is ruff.
