Wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give up some secret crown land camping spots near Revolstoke.

Planning on Aug 2 to 8th.

26ft bumper pull.

Looking at campgrounds now. But figured why not ask on some crown land spots.

Thanks

Not sure how far from Revy you want to camp. I know some guys that that did spring sledding across the ferry at Galena bay, and camped out by the hot springs. They had a truck and camper pulling a 3place enclosed trailer.

Most of the free camping spots are grabbed up pretty quick however Carnes Creek forestry campground is excellent. No services other than outhouses. Right on the lake with a boat launch 36 km north of Revelstoke

Planning on taking the kid site seeing. Check out that Enchanted forest. And a few other easy hikes.

If you are on Facebook you can follow this page and also message the operator regarding sites and availability. BTW there is no cell service up there

the suspension bridge and waterfall is another sight to see with the little one! Just across the highway from crazy pools I believe.

if you can beat the line up... the pipe coaster is worth it... my little guy loved it!
That is on my list.
Can you double on that? My kid is 6. But large for her age. No way she'd ride it alone.
I haven't googled or looked into that one yet. But would love to take her down it

100% you'll have to double her at that age, my boy was 6 as well.

I DARE you to try and leave the brakes alone....

beware of a potential line up.... was a wet morning when we went and they had to dry each cart and the rail for the brakes to work.... took some time and the lineup was like the ski hill on a pow day

Lol. Pretty hard not to use the brakes?

Probably have to do a few runs before a guy gets brave enough not to brake

You have lots to see and do out that way , Three Valley gap ghost town, Enchanted Forest and Sky Trek adventure park ( one location) revelstoke dam tours, the mountain coaster at the skihill, railway museum in town along with the suspension bridge and falls accessible from your campground. You will have a blast! Lots to choose from .
