looking for some info, I bought a 2005 summit 1000 wondering if it is normal. the rer won't engage until sled is totally warm and even then it seems to be picky when the guy did it when I bought the sled it seemed to work fine once the sled was warmed up. is this normal on the 1000 if so any tricks or ways around it it's not very handy for loading and unloading

RER can be a bit finicky on the 1000's and the 800's. I usually have to wait a minute or two and blip the throttle a bit t get not to stall when it's cold.

Yah no worries, happens on most of them. Just let it warm up a bit then it will be fine...

On the 800's this is a sign of low compression on one side only. Do a compression check to rule this out on your 1000, if OK then it may just take that long to warm up. Tapping the throttle to about 1000RPM before RER button should help.:twocents:
