Replacing stator on 800 etec

Yes it is a 13!

Should be able to glue it then! Its way out of warranty (only 2 years in sweden) so i better try and fix it myself.

Should use a glue that can withstand some heat.

I would try and get warranty as it was an issue. Never hurts to ask.

Sorry dude can't help you on that. Been a few years since I had the 13. Dealer should be able to source the bulletin for you.

Im trying jb weld high heat. Good for 260deg c. Should be enough!

My new one had what looked like clear silicone around the outer perimeter edge bonding the sleeve to the housing. I never checked but I don't think that sleeve is magnetic. It would be nice if you could find out what they use.

Its magnetic... Dealer said no so im using jb weld.

Well if it is magnetic, obviously the magnets from flywheel don't hold it in place well enough, because mine slipped out and rubbed stator wires and engine case. let us know how the jb weld works, worth a try I guess. To bad you couldn't get warranty. I have personally seen four removed that all got warranty in this past month, I am the only guy that didn't because I had an sp not snow check and my warranty was done a year ago. Never again. Booooo.

I can see atleast two patches of glue on the flywheel so no the magnets isnt whats holding it in place.

I think the jb weld will work quite well. Shouldnt be that much stress on it.
