Just wondering if anybody knows where I can get either a replacement carb or a carb kit for '74 TNT 440.

She is old and looks even older but I can get the sled for 100 bucks and beat the heck out of it and not care.

Thanks, BUBS:beer::beer:

I think this one might be past the restoring category and a long ways into the cheaper and easier to rebuild category, she is rough shape.
I think there is more silicone holding the hood together than there is hood left.
We'll see I might have waited to long(working nights right now so can't go get it) he has somebody coming to look at it tonight.
I'll try and figure out a way to post the pics.

I may have exagerated a bit on how bad it is. After looking at it again it doesn't seem quite as bad. I'll try a picture here, hopefully it works.:beer:

HD carb kits are about $10.00,I put hundreds in, also changed a lot to newer Mikuni carbs too, add a fuel pump and throttle cable and away ya go.BUT,,that set up nowadays is worth about $500.00

we used to race those old free air Ski-doos, those mikuni carbs worked best at 20 below or colder.bogged bad if warmer..

that particular TNT you have is fan cooled 440.late 70s.it had a bigger fan than the early 70 models. early 440s ran hot and burnt a lot of pistons and cylinders.
