last saturday it was as rough as I have ever seen it until around km 18 or so, then it wasn't bad after that.

yea i was up there 2 weeks ago and it wasnt every good until about 17-18km, how far do you have to drive on dirt?

was maybe 100 meters from the toll booth, we parked where the snow started.

Are they still charging trail pass fee's if they cant maintain the trail,don't mind paying for the tral passes when the trails are groomed it is well worth it,but if not grooming should be no charge.

What if they were charging for back-country access, would you be just as radical?

Under the mcbride section there are a couple threads on these topics. The grooming on the trails ended about 10 days ago i think, grooming has ended for the year so no trail pass fee. The trail is regular spring non groomed trail, people are driving just up the trail abit. There is still to much snow in the "spring" parking lot just across the bridge at like 2km. Both luciell and belle still have snow on the trail right from the parking lot up. We still have a crazy amount of snow up top.
