Was wondering if a guy should cut out the stock center driver from the driveshaft. Curtis from tracks canada mentioned that it should be thrown away cause it will ice up and could cause the track to ratchet. Has anyone been doing this with the stock track or just when you change tracks or what? I dont want to cut anything out just for the hell of it.

Thanks

that's what he tells people. not something i would do. the '08 & '09 did that sometimes but the driver profile has changed. i put a 2.5 challenger on mine and never cut out that center extravert. other than delamination of some form there is pretty much no warranty on tracks anyway.

I cut my center driver out last season when I installed my Peak track. I put the stock track back in after three rides on the Peak (didn't like it) and I've had no ratcheting issues without the center driver.

Done fishing. Let's go sledding !!
