removing primary

08 summit 800. i was in the midst of putting quick clickers on my sled and i was cleaning the bolt and the roomate went and moved the sled not knowing and im sure that little washer fell into my clutch. pretty much gotta remove clutch and find it. ive never had the primary off. looking forward to it just dont know how. do i need special tools? any help would be great i live out in blackfalds. thanks

U can use the center bolt with teflon tape on the threads and water in the hole trick to get the primary off "sled on its side" or buy a clutch puller "bolt" I think they are $30 ish.

P.S I have all the tools to do the sec and primary totally apart if you want/need to borrow!:beer:

After I finally tried the water trick I will never had use a puller on mine again!
I did find a roll of yellow teflon lying around at my work its for gas fittings its a little thicker than the white airline stuff. I tried it and it works way better I just don't know where to get it?

you can get the yellow gas line teflon tape at any hardware store, I got some from the local UFA farm store

Thanks I asked at crappytire but the 15 year old girl that works there didn't know if they even still sold tires.LOL

thanks the water trick worked like a charm. slide shoes orings and rollers were all wore out. even surprised i have 1mm over rollers and turple brothers actually ordered my some aftermarket ones. saved me a trip to edmonton:)
