Removing helix on 09 xp

I've tried searching and didn't find anything very helpful, I'm looking for details on how to remove the helix on an 09 xp, I know about removing the jack shaft with clutch etc, what I'm looking for is removing the belt adjuster to install qrs tool to compress the spring.

If you have the metal belt adjuster, I find it easiest to remove it while the secondary is still on the sled. It just unscrews, but it is TIGHT. I use a biga$$ crescent wrench. The brake probably won't hold the clutch from turning...so I usually wedge an old belt, doubled over, between the secondary and the footwell.

Some people remove the adjuster when the secondary is on the bench....but the only way I have to hold it would be in a vice....and the shaft is hollow so I don't want to do that.
