Does bd pay you to bash redline?

I just received a private message from another member with the exact same issue I’m not bashing I’m sharing my expirence with a product that isn’t ready for the market. The redline kit can be fixed with a bd box because it has some control over stock injectors. I welcome anyone to try the redline kit vs a bd on an cm or vs a mtntk, silber or bd on a Axys it will not compair.

I have go pro videos of how bad the throttle response and bottom end was. It was to the point if you hit it hard with out loading it from nothing it just falls on its face. Watch the redline videos they posted of the new ctec cat you can hear how horrible fuel map is. Or watch the video they have trying the low boost setup or climbing a chute they all suck bottom end it horrible to watch their own videos and see how bad they are. These guy go and test and ride but they ride open areas and aren’t good riders so the product isn’t getting put to a real test

I will say this if your comparing stock throttle response to turbod two stroke there is always a bit of a load up time not only are you using the stock 800 to spin up heavier weights but you gotta build boost pressure and have aftermarket injectors spray. I will say I agree there is bottom end lag but they run very strong on mid range and top end which is why so many like them.

So what do other kits do differently?

I thought basically all turbo kits now adays have secondary injectors and a boxed fuel controller.

If you are not happy with the map why not just change it yourself with the software redline provides? Could you not dump the boondocker map in?

What boost are you trying to run?

other kits use better turbos efr or gtx, flash tuning like mtntk or silber or bd has some control over stock injectors. I would change map if it was that easy but the lack of capibility is the issue the g3 box just can’t do it.

So the problem is when the secondary map kicks in?

What are your Afr readings through the transition zone?

no it’s before the secondary map kits in. That’s why the bd box is much better t can control stock or best option is flash tuning.

So that would mean your adding boost before the secondary injectors kick in, lean condition, and you actually need to add fuel down low?

I'm thinking install issue here.. Might want to ride with some other red line kits, the ones I ran with are clean, and his fuel box on mine is fine.. His fuel boxes are used on mutilple other kit manufactures and I don't see why they would use them if bad..

first st complaint I heard.. Dave should chime in here

Yeah that's a solid point. Speed werx is using them with their super charger kits now.

100% not a install error he had the lab top on it and Dave him self told me that’s how they work. I have in box messages since my post today from others with the same issues. I have rode with other redline kits since and know of another Xm kit that was installed at the redline shop that works the exact same. Like I said Dave him self told me this is how this kit works he even said he could try some custome **** like resistors in the fuel injector circuits. If you put these kits against a bigger company like bd or mtntk or silber it’s no comparison
