I just got a txt from my dealer informing me I wont be seeing my Shredder DS until Jan or Feb. Apparently there are problems in Europe at this time and it is out of control of BRP. So I am going to assume that might be for most if not all Shredders.

Yep, my dealer called me today with the same story. Worst part is, I sold my summit x back in may. No mountain sled now. Sure glad the snow condition aren’t very good right now. Hopefully whatever the problem is,BRP gets it’s figured out sooner than later. May have to buy something else to ride this winter.

Looks like major Lynx delays, possibly Feb/ march delivery.

Ross said you don’t need a bumper. He was going to show a video on how to get unstuck, without using the bumper.. just another way for BRP to gouge you on spending more money. Jose boisjoli is laughing. BRP’s Quarterly profits are up. He’ll get a nice bonus.

They are masters of taking everything off the sled & selling it back to you, oh you want a winder. Come over here & look @ the options. Sno flaps are a great idea, we have these choices. Bumpers, oh yes......step over here in the bumper dept. Ha!

I've met Jose, yes he is a very small human being.

3900 DS Shredder non turbo is in. Awaiting PDI.
Does anyone know if the Doo Bogey wheels on the rails will fit on a Lynx? like the actual bogey wheel mount and wheel. I would like to add an extra set as I see the RE Shredder comes with them but the DS does not. I have not asked the dealer yet as I have been busy at work but looking for quick turn around on the part and hoping the Doo will fit as its easier to source.

So I figured out that the Idler wheel/bogey wheel mounts are the same part number from Lynx to Ski doo....the Idler wheels themselves are a 147mm wheel on the lynx....I found that the Renegade has a 147mm idler wheel so I am going to order up the mounts, wheels, and applicable hardware and mount it up. Hopefully everything mounts up properly. My reasoning for adding the extra Idler wheels is I will be using this sled as a flat land off trail machine as well so it will see a bit of hardpack trails and low snow conditions.

I’m with you buddy. They look sharp the shock package is what draws me in and wish the Expert came with better shocks. Would like to try the 15wide track to see the difference. Only drawback is the weight and skis look bulky

I’m not a fan of the Lynx, more weight more money and tougher availability, especially what I hear about getting parts for them.
I guess I would actually have to ride one, but there would have to be a major difference over the G5, and I love the G5.
