Did my own research and confirmed that this guy is indeed F W. It's sad in todays society that it goes to this extent. I guess it easier to look at videos of random people all day than actually doing some work. (I post them for friends to see not strangers) .. There are people that are doing actual crimes or companies that are pillaging our trees, polluting the air destroying animal habitat yet lets waste our efforts on people that ride quads for recreation.

You could of been reported by someone who seen the vid, once your media leaves your possession its no longer private, so unfortunately thats the life of social media.

Everyone should be very mindful of anything posted on social media.

There has been a few hate post here and my point is not to paint everyone with the same brush. I follow common sense rules , I enjoy the outdoor, I typically bush camp, I pickup my garbage.... and will pickup others that were left behind, I have a good time. I quad, I sled and totally agree with the giving of fines to those that put themselves or others in danger. It seems like our ability to live and do what we want is very quickly disappearing and being replaced with 3000 rules and regulations, because of a small group of people that never actually did any of these things and dont appreciate it.

Now for my update:

the gentleman called me the day before indicating that he was unable to make it and asked if it was a problem if he can reschedule. long story in between....we have not rescheduled and I am waiting for a call from his Supervisor that may or may not call back.

Please keep us in the loop, however it turns out. Ive had an opportunity to spend some quality time with F+W. I learnt a lot about the bigger picture, be humble and honest if anything does happen. Record everything you and the officer say, use a piece of paper or your phone. Send him a copy. But let it be known that F+W have a full compliment of online officers who's orders are to search for these exact things. And they have a full compliment of the law and its ability to make all your things public knowledge.

Im curious that he just called....I agree that they just find you and do the deed right there. Its over long before you even know it started. Its untypical for them to call. Or even have access to your numbers. Do not blow him off, If he knows who you are and all that a warrant is well within there grasp. Wouldn't ever call him back though.

I really hope/expect this fizzles and goes away, my interaction was brief and unpleasant but overall went ok. The officer was reasonable and understanding. I will say that i am now educated and do things a bit different.

Be smart and think before you talk.

Update - I spoke with his Supervisor , respectfully expressed my frustration with the process. He explained that this is indeed protocol to interview those being investigated. He mentioned that I am not required to meet up with an officer for an interview, as they have not charged me with anything. So Hopefully either I get charged and then I'll know whats going on or this may be the end of it.

Most excellent news,

Remember to seek counsel, its good to have a ace up your sleeve. Takes a bit of the worrying of your plate. Rest assured with the long weekend coming up they will have more than enough business to keep them busy.

you are probably correct in the above. i would say the later. silence is bliss when being "interviewed" by any law enforcement agency.

Likely best to not get charged, they can be wolves in sheeps clothing. Would be nice to know what they are after
