New poster to forum.
Thought I would share my vintage rebuild of my 1980 Can-am 250.
I got the bike in a box.... so what better time to get it spruced up!Bought all new plastic + Decals
Took it to Cyclone Coatings here in Edmonton and he cleaned up the frame for me.
I dropped of the head to get resleeved and should have it back tomorrow. So ill be putting motor back together this weekend
I will keep you posted on the progress!
Anyone happen to have part number(s) for swing axle bearings???

Take lots of pictures of the build. My Uncle had one when back in the day. It was so cool!

i LOVE threads like this. its nice to see people put the love, time, and money into the cool old bikes... keep the pictures coming. details of the parts that got you stuck as well. whenever im rebuilding an engine or a bike there always seems to be a part that i get snagged on.
