Yup costco all the way. They come in two shades. I have one of each. The light tinted ones work well in low light conditions. The dark rose tinted ones are to dark IMO. I'd get two pairs of the light ones next time. I find they rarely fog and field of vision is good. All around for 40$ about the best deal going.

Also got 2 pairs at Costco, in my opinion any goggles get scratched pretty easily and better to replace them as often as possible. Btw I,'ve noticed lenses from Costco goggles can be taken off but I couldn't find any replacement lenses for them, any ideas?

Im not sure if you can get replacement lenses for them. I just buy a couple pair every season or two. And you are right goggles get scratched up pretty quick. We ride 99% in the trees. So take a lot of branches to the lenses.

I use oakley o frames. They cost 79 bucks, are comfortable and your field of vision isn't impaired. They don't fog up on me. Simple, straightforward design from a eyeglass company.

I find the aviators are too small and the spherical lens isn't optically correct. You see shadows and unnecessary glare. Many have complained that the coating wears off too.

My wife and I bot use these. They fit our helmets very well so their a keeper!

Hey if you want to cheap out on goggles enjoy your season

I don't think these guys are "cheaping out" per say. As many have pointed out, the Costco ones seem to work well. I like the looks of the 509's, but have read on a few different forums that they fog, or don't fit well, hence me initial post. If I'm going to wear a pair of goggles that are going to fog up on occasion, I'd rather of spent $100 on them rather than $300. I like to pack a spare in case the first pair get frozen up, scratched by a tree branch, or even cracked.

Thanks Cuso, I may look for a pair of these.
I ended up ordering a pair of the "Stage" brand goggles posted on the first page, as with the 50% off code, they are damn near free. I will also check Costco next time I am in the city. I couldn't find them online.

It's not the cheaping out. The original poster said he didn't want to spend that much... I know that may be hard for you to comprehend.

The oakley O's work great.

I was in the same boat as you last year, and bought a pair of Smith Io/s off eBay for $90. Multiple lenses are available and work very well. The costco cheapies are a good option too, I always have a couple pairs of those in case.

Ive never had issues with my dragon dx mx goggles with dual lenses. Wps make snowmobile ones now with large face foam and a nose guard.
