Sorry for late reply, mine ( outlander) had the same problem and found the bolt holding they joint on had broke off. This was allowing the driveshaft to float on the spline. This caused the bushing to also float and let the oring inside to work loose and allow tranny oil to leak out past the inside of the bushing past the outer oil seal. Long story short, there's 2 seals in there, one outer, one inner. The inner is the oring and the outer is the oil seal. But check the bolt first and make sure it's there, and tight.
