Maybe because I am a meadow muffin and only 160#, that is how my riding has been on my last 14 sleds all of which have been that infamous yellow color!!

And that’s how it should be. All tho every company has lemons but that’s no excuse

I see ZRP and TKI have aftermarket parts for these on the monorail. Anyone put one to use and is this the solution..? or is there something else in my skid/set-up I can do to stop these from cracking and potentially completely failing, leaving a guy stranded? //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201029/3469943779f1edfb382f98fa96c218d4.jpg

Do you jump alot? I ask as looking at mine the clearance is minimal sitting on the floor. I think these are breaking when the suspension is being fully extended like in a jump. I was thinking if a guy removed some material where the arm sits it would stop this from happening.

The airbox is a huge F up can't believe they haven't figured that out yet. The rear bolts yeah a screw up but expected on a radical new design. The springs in 20 is an F up too but every Doo I've ever ridden was woefully under sprung as well with junk shocks you can't even do anything about.

I've yet to have a sled I just got on and rode. They all need something just different flavours.
True to a certain point

I added the spring bushings, but springs had 6000 km on them

Air box, ummm ya, still tho

Guess I will see how this thing works and lasts

ill get the skis in the air and the track off the snow once and a while lol, nothing super gnarly like hucking over trees tho, tightened the track tension a bit and got a couple trips on it with no signs of anything. Agree that it looks like when the suspension goes into full travel under no weight in a hurry that it would be overloading that little piece on the scissor stop..

Changed sliders on mine last night and found my rear scissor is cracked. Talked to dealer and he said it seems to be tied to certain snow conditions where it packs with ice and cracks when the rear arm extends as he tends to see a few come in for it in batches and then nothing for awhile. He should have my sled turned around for me in a day so I'm good for Saturday. Shuswap Xtreme is top notch.

Pretty close but not exact. I checked start of the season and didn't see anything so must have been on last ride which makes sense since it was deep but pretty heavy powder so would ice easily.

I grabbed the TKI rear scissor from Chris at Source that he was mentioning he had above. Always great to deal with him, and support a local business. I will have a good spare if anyone gets into a bind and needs a stocker. Didn’t want to take any chances cause I’ll break mine for sure and the through bolt kit I’ve had on order for over a month with Cat is still on backorder. This is a really nice kit that comes with the through bolt as well and new bushings.

I noticed the AC part number changed for 2021 and the price went up also. Possibly an upgrade?
