Re: Sled Repairs??
I HAVE A DILEMNA!!!
I JUST PRICED OUT THE PARTS TO REPAIR THE 1000RT THAT SNAGGED A SNOW SNAKE(ROCK) ON THE FRONT END. TO ABSOLUTELY FIX EVERYTHING THAT IS BENT/BROKEN INCLUDING A DENTED EXHAUST PIPE COVER($250.97) AND PUT IT BACK TO SHOWROOM IS WILL BE ABOUT $1000.00 + TAX.
QUESTION IS: DO YOU FIX ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, OR TAP OUT THE DENT IN THE EXHAUST PIPE COVER AND STRAIGHTEN THE FRONT X-BRACE AND PUT ON A CLEAR HOOD, OR FIX IT ALL WITH NEW PARTS. ALSO SHOULD IT BE DONE THROUGH INSURANCE??? HOW FAR SHOULD ONE GO?? I CAN DOO ALL THE WORK MYSELF, SO THATS NOT A PROBLEM, BUT SHOULD EVERY LITTLE SCRATCH/SCRAPE/DENT BE REPAIRED/REPLACED??
