re: New to me, BCA float 30 pack - Question

Good Morning Everyone...

Just got a new to me, BCA Float 30 Avy pack last night, in really good shape, and it came with a charged cylinder (2700psi)

My questions, as I have never owned one of these before, is ... I'd like to test fire it right away to see how it feels and such...

but then I'm concerned I might not have a usable pack for a bit due to not having a re-fill station in my area?

does anyone on here know of any authorized refill stations in the Quesnel / Prince George / Williams lake area or anywhere I can send it to be re-filled once fired?

Thanks in advance...

Rob.

Don't know about your area, but any paintball shop or scuba shop with the right adapter can fill it. They may not have the right o-rings for it though. Did you get an o-ring kit with it?

You can order the o-rings from BCA. We change the o-rings every time we test fire. Look up how to properly put the air bag back into the pack. An extra set of hand makes the repacking much easier.

I would pull it for sure, look for a video on you tube as well. Not sure how your pack works but my snowpulse bag folds up a special way and it was a pain to fold up after a test fire, i had to watch a video and i finally got it so it was nice and tucked away good and not bulky.

deploy it and repack it just like any safety gear learn how to use it. avoid the paintball shops and find a scuba shop its 10$ bucks for a refill 20 for a rebuild but that should be part of the learning.

Just curious cause I don't know. I'm a diver so I know very well that scuba shops supply dry air, but I know zip about paint ball. Is their air "not so" dry?
