Most of the time in a utv,if you try to skirt it on the sides of a big mud hole, this is what is most likly to happen .
A: you will just slide in to the hole ,off camber anyways....
B: you will end up on your side or roof....
C: you will get stuck because you are only on 2 wheels....
D: you will break an axle because you are putting all the stress/torque on those 2 wheels...
E: you will be known as the camp idiot , for a while
F: your friends will spend hours wrecking their machines towing you out.....
G: all of the above!

I almost bought a rear hitch mount winch set up this year. The front winch gets its fair share of use and has held up well although I did change out my old beat up stock cable for a synthetic line this year but being able to pull myself out of a bad situation backwards would be wonderful. If/when I get this figured out it will definitely be with something stronger as well.
