I'm sorry but I need to chime in here.... You haven't ridden with dirt bikes before other than kids or newbies, have you? There is NOWHERE you can hide from a dirt bike and rider. I can cover 70km of the exact same terrain as you in 2 hours or less. Anywhere Anytime. I'm far from pro. You can make a sport quad go places as well but a lot more work. Keep it out of the mud.

after seeing Nabil take his 2wheel drive sport quad the whole way to the falls the one year, and go thru the more difficult routes I have no doubt you can take a 2 wheel drive anywhere, its about driver ability and skill. And watching you and your boy on the bikes same thing......

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a rapter 700 and wondering if good for mudding not doing really deep mud, just around 2" thick and just having fun. No trail or track and live where it is very flat. with lots of feilds and very little hills. Live on a farm.is it a good quad for your first sport quad. I have dirt biked and quaded before. Please Reply

In 2inch deep mud in FIELDS,with little to NO HILLS, that is what you are riding,Correct? I think the 700raptor would be an exellent choice for your first SPORT quad and yes they are very good for having fun. Way faster than most 4x4 quads(rengades are sick tho)

If your plan on taking it outwest all the time then yeah get a 4x4...

The only "might work" is a kfx 700 V Force ......You can run bigger tires 24/25 lots of power and they are auto belt drive . That means you can get of give it a push and pin it..........they go good in LIGHT mud.Mine had a 30 shot of nitrous so wheel speed was not a problem. They bno longer make them, why you ask..........
Everyone just buys a Renny..........

Man those KFX would have been sweet as 4x4s. They would be pretty far behind the renegade now in terms of power though.

After reading Lildukes highlighted Mudman post and smacking my forehead beating the comprehension of that sentence in my head. I retract my recommendation.
Sounds like a hell of a good time! Kinda like a Allan Jackson song, i don't condone that sort of behavior though.

Yup, we don't ride with sporties either, way to much work to haul them out and having to always wait., Motorbikes the same thing.
Never seen a quad of any kind keep up with dirt bikes not mater what kinda of terrain ,trails, mud or even muskeg
the people we ride with the 4x4 quads are all in the back usually dirt bikes are a head 3-10 min the sport quads the 4x4 quads

Friend of mine has a raptor 700 and rides in the bush and mud all the time with no problems he just put taller rear bear claw tires on and givers chit sure it's not has easy of a ride like a 4x4 but he goes every where the 4x4 do and does not get stuck any more often than them
