hey.....if someone knows of a tailgate from an old Fargo truck like this....please pm me. I have a good friend who needs a tailgate to complete his truck.....

Its the tail gate that holds most the load, this is what I was told.

If it's from a 60 ish vintage dodge fleet side truck I do

Weather it's for sale or not is the next question, was going to make a swing down deck seat with it

I feel kind-a bad as this is a real thread. WOW.

So here's the run down on "Good Ship Lolly Pop."

High angle sail for "Whipping" that is the new snowmobilers term for,,,, Uhhhhhhh, Doooo-Nooooo,,,,, Maybe draft catching.
Top heavy feeling at being at sea.
Crap your pants cutting threw ditch off hwy.
4 barrels to the rug at every set of light.
Speedometer arrow goes left to right as fuel gauge goes right to left.
7' wide to 13' tall prevent under ground parking and most city car-washes, un-less you wear dark sun glasses and never look back.
SxS is easy to work on when loaded on, Deck,,,, Ramp,,,, no its deck, nope ramp... Ok,,,, Deck/ ramp...

Aluminum raps don't like SxS.
Scary to load when sober and lets say a bit wiser, but winch it on seems to work.
800 lbs of dripping muskeg on cab balances truck & SxS level. Not so much when you hit the brakes as it slips forward over front window across hood to help truck stop on human made mound, it works best at major intersections in big cities.
Lots of walking time to stay in shape since drive threws limit access.
Lot of storage under Deck/Ramp thinger-ma-jig.
And number 13 best call on new pack mule is. Watching the loading and un-loading at a safe distance in lawn chair with hot cup of coffee.

Now where did I set my camera for the before and after pictures. Ha.

Pal Lem wearing safety bucket just watching.
