Most seem pretty friendly. I think I’d take my chances there before I’d tour around the alphabets in Saskatoon!!

Good point. I can’t speak Spanish either but I also can’t understand Cree or gibberish!!!

Ive been to saskatoon. Nothing that interesting to me.

Medallin looks awesome to me. Poor, but lots of character. The streets, the hills, the buildings. Love it.

Best to know some of the lingo amigo. Been in all kinds of situations over the years. Only once I felt to white and was told sera major que te vayas,Chico blanco. (Translation leave white boy)… I understood and went. 2nd time I hired a local to drive me around and we went through a area where teens were yelling whitey whitey whitey, guy told me to lay down. Not cool.
I really avoid areas with the wife where I feel it’s not safe but then again ahe is the one leading me most days lol.
Need to spend some real time in the areas before going out back. They can spot you a mile out and there is no reason to be in these places so the local guys are very interested in what your doing.
Life in these areas are hard, best to stay in your areas as a tourist.

No point being a tourist if you can't tour around. Oh well maybe in another life.

Years ago I spent three weeks in Cali, Colombia for work. There wasn't a lot of free time but one evening l decided to take a stroll. A young guy got all up in my face saying l don't know what. I didn't go out unescorted again.
