There was a FJ40 in BC with independent suspension on 46inch baja claws. Built for snow wheeling.

Guy had 200g in this thing, was crazy where it would go in the snow

Reminds me of a buddy of mine doin' the ditchin' thing on his '96 Indy a while back.... clippin' along at a good speed and hit a fire hydrant buried in the snow.
Pigeon toed his skis, crushed/drove his header into the block, slid up the seat and nailed the handle bars with his bag...could walk for a week. Sled was phucked after that.

I am heading out tomorrow, probably taking the longtrack first though, we have had a good dump of snow and its easier on my old body haha. The first few rides are hard enough lol.

I almost had a few bad wrecks when trying to brake on ice, hence the studs. They help in other situations which is icing on the cake.

No, have a friend with a cabin up north and we ride the lake alot. Also in the ditch in spring, freezes overnight.
