What do y’all use?

i have a passport 8500, it keeps giving me false alarms from vehicles blind spot detection signals etc

is there any radars out there that can mute those signals?

I got a 9500 and works great. Supose to be just as good as rhe redline except not detect photo van. My buddy has one and we xonpare who is better but basically same.

Sadly the rcmp got some new laser about 7 months that these 800 dollar detectors do not pick up. I know this for a fact because as we were leaving the rcmp were there got to bull****ing with an officer. We tested it on our detectors and he was so pumped neither of ours worked lol. No we didnt gwt tickets either. That officer was hella cool !!

I use an escort IX, great detector and you can turn off bands you don't want. I use mainly Ka band as that is what most sheriffs use. once in a while RCMP will use K band, but not very often.

Need a jammer against laser, detector will just tell you you are caught.

Download the Waze app. Basically Google maps except you can log cops so it shows on the map. Lots of users in Vancouver so basically every single stop check is noted on the map and it warns you in advance. Need more users across the provinces.

I ran a valentine for a few years and it worked great!
I’m currently running a Uniden R3 and it seems to work pretty good. Both have Saved me a lot of demerits!

I just put a ALP built in radar detector and jammer on my road glide. Sweet set up. Picks up so far away that instant on radar still gives me a beep when they hit other guys. Obviously if I’m on the highway all alone instant on radar could still get me. It Runs through an app on my phone mounted on my handlebars. I have the Jammer for the laser set up front and rear with seven seconds before it turns off Been ripping hard ever since I got it no tickets yet. Knock on wood
