Coastal snow pack is pretty stable. Avy danger was considerable for the alpine and tree line yesterday and as long as you use common sense, you can have an amazing time.
Yeah as V10rider said we are lucky on the coast and I do a lot with avy clinics and my own careful planning during every ride! The advantage I truly have is being out there most days sledding or skiing and I get to see things happening each day, it is much harder for people when they get out less but following the weather and remembering what has happened like snow fall and temperature differences and checking the avy bulletin for your are will help, but the biggest thing to remember is to ride within your ability and don't stray from your plan for the day!
