Racers edge skid

Hey guys,
looking to see if anyone has pictures of a racers edge back half setup on an axys. I unboxed mine but kinda am lost as to where mount everything. Anything need to be done to the drop brackets? Thanks guys, I tried to do a search but came up with nothing.

I talked with Daryl. He has not much info to give besides the fact he built them for boost it. Just was looking for a picture of where it mounted to the rails so I didn’t mess anything up

I installed a raceres edge rear arm in a few different sleds that had different rails than what it originally Was built on. It was a little tricky getting it in the right location on the first one. where the holes in the rails were the arm did not work like it should it seemed to bind. To get the geometry right. I took the springs off both shock. Leave the rear arm unbolted and make your suspension go up and down. The rear arm will find its happy place. Once u find that location clamp it with locking pliers. Work the suspension some more to make sure u get full travel with no binding. Install springs loose, check suspension travel again. Once u have done the final suspension travel check. Start drilling mounting holes in the rails.
If u have different rails you might have to get creative. I upload a photo of what u did to mount a racers edge rear arm into some aftermarket rails that originally had a k mod rear arm installed.

Like I said pretty crude but it’s been working for 35/40 days like that. Could have used a smaller piece that was not all oxidized. But it’s what was on the shelf.

I have also fooled around with the rear bolt location top hole it’s pretty stiff @160 pounds it was much to solid for me. idk if I was 300 pounds if it would have any better. The kmod worked well in the upper hole but the raceres edge was to solid for my likings.

Most of the arms and brackets that were built for Boost-it would have gone on to ice age rails as most of those sleds got a 174 to go with the turbo. It’s likely the mounting points are quite different.
