So I'm going through my Impulse turbo Nytro, just checking things over as usual and I see this hanging! What the heck is it? It's attached to a small rubber hose that goes to the valve cover on the engine. It has a barbed brass fitting on one end and the other is threaded. It was just hanging behind my oil tank not attached to anything and has me baffled? Anyone no what its for and where it's supposed to be threaded to? It has some clean engine oil residue in it and was leaking some on my belly pan. Thanks so much guys! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356138421.287360.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356138442.567884.jpg

I believe it's just a vent for the valve cover so it doesn't pressure up, and just a fuel filter or something on the end of the hose to keep dirt or whatever out of the line.

its a valve cover breather hose. locate it some place so if and when it pukes oil it won't get on your wiring or cluthing etc.
