Sunday in Golden had 5-10" of fresh overlying a firm base.
The new snow was sluffing off everywhere. Towards the end of the day it was starting to become saturated. If weather is cold I'd be worried about that snow sliding. Not massive slides, but maybe enough to trigger the persistant layers deeper down from December.
Also, the top of this snow had crystals on top. Of course the sun got rid of most of that, but shaded, sheltered areas may have another weak layer added if they get more snow. I'm hoping the warmer air on Sunday melted most of it.
