Just put a used oil pump in my sled to replace one that was leaking. Brp says I have to hook it to buds to program it in. Can anyone give a definitive answer on what will happen if I don't? Friggin dealer wouldn't squeeze me in for this 5-10 minute job so I could ride this weekend. Will my calibration just be a bit off? These things are so rich that I think it's safe either way? Number on the old pump was 7, this one is 5
