Proclimb Powdercoat?

Anyone have problems with there powder coat on the tunnels or boards.

I'm 2 rides in on my New Proclimb and its peeling in multiple places.


Wondering if the dealer is doing anything for it.

Pretty sure its actually painted and not powdercoated but I could be wrong. The way cats going with their warranty claims, theyll prob tell you to pound sand!

Cat doesn't warranty paint. Figured that out on my quad a big chunk flaked off at a rock chip.

I had my spindle warranty by arctic cat do to paint flaking off.

Depends if you dealer likes you i guess, id get it warrantied for sure, they wont warranty stickers or paint on plastic for the quads, but if its paint on the tunnel boards spindles etc and its coming off due to defect like that sounds like it is then they will warranty it

I have a 14 orange and black M8000, the paint on the rear bumper started to peel after a couple of rides, dealer replaced under warranty no problem..

The powder coating was peeling in the footwells area of my 14 M8000. My dealer was going to install a complete new tunnel. I didn't want to replace the complete tunnel on basically a brand new sled , so they went to bat for me and I had them install the new BDX Prolite Running Boards. Absolutely love them.
It essentially cut out 99% of where the powder coating was flaking. All mountain sleds should come factory with these boards.
