Proclimb headlight delete

Has anyone tried making their own headlight delete for these sleds?? I plan to tear into my hood this evening after work. Will post pics as I go if I make any progress. My goal is to keep the same formation of the hood, use 2 smaller lights. I want to remove the headlight casing itself and make up some kind of insert to block off snow entering. Maybe could use this as a secondary intake setup, let the sled breath more. If I cannot come up with something I think I may try out the bdx hood, looks decent. Any thoughts? I haven't taken apart the hood yet so not sure if what I'm trying to accomplish would be even possible..

Yeah I seen that. Also seen a couple guys over there make one but it sorta lays the windshield down on the hood, kinda makes it look funny. Ill post up some pics of what I figure out. I just wanna tinker with something and kinda personalize the sled a little more lol.

Take a look at the diamond s hood and air box.i ordered one the other day hoping it will work .

I heard the diamond s was a pita to fit it properly, and the intake isn't the greatest. Let me know how u make out with it.

Wont be any pictures tonight, started disassembling the hood and got distracted. Ill get back to working on it after the sled show

They made a mistake with the BDX hood weights on their site:

BDX hood with headlight delete: 10 lbs saving $399
: 5 lbs saving $349

Still pretty decent savings @ $40 per pound. They originally had weights posted as 12 & 10 lbs.

IMO, I don't like the idea of vents in the front of the hood again. Too many twigs punctures when tree bashing.

I'm not gonna fawk with my intake at all. My sled worked REALLY well last season and I don't wanna fawk it up. Little tweak to the clutching this season and a shiny new wrap. That's it.

Yeah; a light comes in handy once in a while for seeing chit; before you hit it and stuff.........

If you goes for a headlight delete, you put a LED light of some kind on the hood or handlebars

way brighter and looks much better with headlight deleted. IMO
