problem?

I just got back from the moutains with my 98 rmk 600. it runs GREAT at mid to high rpms but out of the hole it seems too ritch. when I take out the plugs after flat out they are gold. what do you think is wrong?

OK what you gotta do is make sure you do have a carb problem vs clutch problem. Can be tricky to determine this. But make it bog a bunch of times then pull the plugs see if they look blacker or even wet. If they look really good not for sure but I would make sure you don't have a hanging up clutch. really watch the rpms and see if you can get a feel and hear what the sled is doing.

If you notice more of bog at high elevations I would drop the needles a notch and try it.
Will help on the fuel mileage dept too.:d
