Ya if u just hold 5500 or 6000 for to long it just det . U got to ride it like a old carb sled on and off gas .

How many km on the sled? Has fuel pressure been checked, has fuel filter been changed?

Thanks for the responses, I have a few things to check. There is 3500 miles on the sled, about 1000 miles on top end. I changed the fuel filter this fall. I was talking to a Polaris tech and he said he has seen the exhaust shield come loose and creating a vibration that triggers the knock sensor. This would happen when he is holding the throttle in the same position, and would maybe explain why it doesn't happen when I ride it. I will be looking into it once I'm back in town.

I have seen this as well, injectors and fuel pump can also be a culprit

Check if the spark plugs are over torqued. My 2012 would thought codes is the spark plugs were over torqued. Any more than 22 ft/lbs is too much.

Can’t say I’ve ever torqued plugs on my axys. I usually just go until the ‘stop’ and a bit more

I have tried tho, seems to be a pain to get a proper torque wrench in there
