never understood the 600 turbo? just my opinion but...i think its silly. you can do a big bore in any 800 and be more reliable, half the cost, half the tinkering, and nearly as much power....and i like the all motor power too. good buddy just bought 2013 800 Pro he is doing the SLP big bore....its gonna be a monster!

turbo 600's, to me, is like trying to make a honda civic fast?

pick up a 800 pro and be happier.

Big bore ain't to cheap either though. But hey, it's just money ..... seems to be $ 100.00 per NA Horsepower

There is a Honda Civic that does 7.3 sec at 188 mph in the 1/4 mile.

I've seen a turbo'd 600 back in the butterfly and Lava. It pulled hills amazingly, surprised me.

I saw one in the butterfly that was retarded until I talked to the guy and it turned out to be an 800 turbo with 600 side panels. Lol

I've run big bores and multiple turbos, my sled I would like to build if money wasn't an issue would be a tundra 600 turbo. If you like the 600 and some one has a working kit go for it! Don't need to be another 800 like everyone else

so a brand new 2012 pro rmk 600 I can get for 9500 a turbo will put me at 14,500 ish, lets say 3000 for a track and extension that is 17,500 for a 180-200 hp sled on av gas seems pretty good price to me.

If I was you I would turbo an 800 and put 600 side panels on it just for the looks you'd get. That guy in McBride had a lot of guys scratching their heads it was too funny once I figured it out.

If it was me, and this is just another opinion, I'd buy a 800 163 for 12ish, and big bore it for 5ish, run av gas/91 50/50, and have 0 turbo lag and a ton more torque. Right now I own a BB and I own a turbo and I like the BB for it's huge torque and instant throttle response.

Its not just as easy as bolting on the kit, no matter what LHF says about his imaginary friend and his super sled. If you are dead set on it, giver beef it will be different that's for sure, but ask yourself if you wanna wrench or ride. If you do go that route, I seriously suggest talking to Shane Stanger at Twisted Turbos before you pull the trigger.

Just to put into perspective - That same $$ figure will buy you a new Cat 4 stroke with warranty and everything else you listed and no need to run av gas. Buy a $400 re-mapped ECU from Speedwerx and you got 240 HP (probably voids your warranty though).

this guy knotted what he is talking about.

You can have a 200 hp big bore for less than your turbo 600 with more torque, pull and go. But its your money. I personally think turbo 6's are funny. What ever you do....post it up! Good luck with your
purchase
