Really? Hook it to something heavy and pull! You don't see brand new Kenworths bobtailing around for a week to break them in.
I ask because a coworker bought a new Subaru car and he said he wasn't supposed to get its revs up.

Diesels don't rev to 7000rpm. Boost doesn't even come on untill over 3000rpm in first gear with a Subaru. Apples and oranges.

Right in the Ram owners manual it states no need to break in a Cummins. Done at the factory.

Yep. I do believe they recommend 1000kms on other parts though. But as long as you vary speed a bit (not setting cruise for a few hours) and go easy warming everything up I wouldn't be concerned.

Really happy with the truck so far. Still haven't figured out all the fancy stuff. But getting around 10.5 L / 100 km at 110 kmph so that's pretty good for having 450 km on it

Just realized today it has dual alternators. Don't know why. Guess it's a option lol

Can't track down the block heater cord yet. Owners manual says it on passenger side by the battery somewhere lol.

No reason to mess with deleting / modifying and risking warranty when you get that kind of mileage.

Not bad, if it improves when broken in it might compete with the big boys in mileage ;)

I wouldn't consider deleting IMO. My 13 Ram has been perfect, DEF has made them better, better mileage and less problems. I can't remember the last time it regened, probably more then a year ago. Think it's only done it 2 times in 60,000kms. The big thing with them is they are meant to be worked, a lot of the problems come from guys who use them as grocery getters. I tow 21k 1-2 times a week with mine so there's never an issue with the engine working.
