Not quite, she is pro-enviromental=anti oil, and a little protectionist.

Trump is protectionist (i.e. rip up NAFTA) but pro oil (maybe Keystone XL).

Either way Canada was going to get the shaft.

We have no bargaining chips on many of these issues. If Trump says F-you Canada we won't buy your oil, what are we going to do? We can't magically sell it to China with no ports or pipelines to ship it in. He'll just import it from the middle east. Trump is a business man, he knows we are backed into a corner on many of these agreements and will use it to his advantage. It's really our fault for using them as our sole trading partner for so long.

That's my point, we haven't succeeded in gaining other markets, Clinton won't have a pipeline, and with Trump will have the power to push us around on these agreements to get the better deal for him.

As I said earlier either way Canada will get the shaft, and that's the part the others seemed to have issue with.
